How do I find out what states have adopted the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction?

Where can I purchase the Guidelines for Design and Construction documents?
Paperback and digital versions of the 2014, 2018, and 2022 FGI Guidelines documents are available for purchase exclusively at https://shop.fgiguidelines.org. Earlier editions can be downloaded here.
Where can I find a read-only version of the Guidelines?
FGI provides limited, free access to the Guidelines documents with an account. This complimentary use is limited to 10 pages, 3 times per month.
How do I get answers to my questions about applying the Guidelines requirements?
You can submit a request for guidance on applying the Guidelines from the contact page. To review published formal interpretations or request an interpretation, view the Interpretations page on the FGI website. Please note that FGI is unable to provide plan review services.
How can I find corrections to the Guidelines?
For paperback users of the Guidelines, downloadable errata sheets for each edition are posted here. Licensed subscribers to the Guidelines can find errata, interpretations, and application guidance directly in the affected section, as shown below.
How do I suggest a change to the Guidelines?
The public proposal period for the 2026 edition will open in early 2023. FGI will announce when the public proposal period commences on the website, FGI Bulletin, and LinkedIn.
Where can I submit a proposal?
When the public proposal period (and public comment period in 2024) commences, proposals can be submitted at https://fgiguidelines.net.
What is the Health Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC)?
The HGRC is the volunteer, multidisciplinary group responsible for revising the Guidelines documents every four years. HGRC members propose needed changes to the Guidelines to keep the documents current with clinical practice and technology. The committee also reviews and votes on every proposal and comment submitted during the Guidelines revision cycle and votes to accept or reject each new Guidelines edition prior to publication. Does FGI have a newsletter, and where can I find it?
Yes, the FGI Bulletin is FGI’s quarterly newsletter. To receive the FGI Bulletin, sign up here. Note: FGI does not and will not sell your contact information.
